Hi,
We have recently isntalled two used Dell 1955 Chasis with 1955 Blades.
I have been unable to connect with either of the two DRACs over the local area network.
I have used the jumpers on the DRACs to reset them, which I hope has reset the IPs to 192.168.0.120 which I believe to be the default.
I have powered down and powered up the chasis since reinstalling the DRAC after the reset.
If I ping this IP I just get a time out.
I have scanned the network and found there is a device which I believe to be the DRAC on this IP, so I have successfully reset the IP.
The network switch LEDs show that I have a 10/100 connection from the DRACs.
To prevent any conflict I have disconnected one of the two DRACs from the network.
I still can't ping the DRAC.
What I really want to do is access the DRAC via a web browser (only within the office - I'm not worried about external connections at the moment).
If I type in https:\\192.168.0.120 I just get a timeout. I have tried with both Firefox and IE.
I would be extremely grateful for any help at all. Once I get to the sign on screen I think I'll be OK, I just can't get the thing to connect.
Many thanks for any help at all.
Jonathan
