we had a disk fail in our Raid 5 setup on our old PowerEdge 2950 now we have re-seated the failed disk and it rebuilt ok but in the raid controller screen I can see 2 foreign disks but no hot spares
its perc 5/E with 14 SAS disk with 2 virtual disk groups
to make matters worse this is my first week in the job so don't know the history of the server or storage
what's the best course of action
also out of warranty so time to be careful
