Hello everybody! Y'all helped me get three PowerEdge 2650s back up and running, so I figured I'd test your knowledge again with an issue I'm having with a 7250.
The company I work for has received a second-hand PE7250 that will not boot. Upon plugging the 7250 in, there is a single "beep" emitted. I could not find any information on this single beep, so maybe it's just an alert that power is being delivered to the 7250.
The "System Power Good" light is not lit (it's not green, it's not amber; it's just off) despite having two PSUs whose status LEDs indicate that they are on standby and that output is a go. For what it's worth, one of the power supply's green LEDs is much more dim than the other.
The front bezel has the power button blinking green and the alert LED blinking amber. Upon trying to boot, the BMC issues the beep code 1-5-4-4, which is listed in the manual as a power control fault.
So far, I have re-seated the two power supplies, switched their locations, and tried different power cords. The 7250 ships with two 2.5M cables, but only one is present. As such, I've connected the PSUs to the wall using 2.0M cables. According to the diagrams, this should still be able to power the 7250 (just not provide reliable redundancy).
If you have any ideas, they are more than welcome. Thank you for taking time out to look at my issue!
