Good Morning Everyone,
Please be patient with me and I apologise if this is in the wrong forum, I have only been in post for a couple of months but before I arrived one of the hard drives in the server (PowerEdge T110 II) had failed and was sent back under warranty by the local authority, the drive was a spare drive that was mirrored via windows.
The school now no longer gets any support from the authority but the new SAS hard drive did arrive and was installed into the server, but when the system boots into windows the "disk management" does not see the drive, although it is seen in the bios.
Do I have to set this up on the SAS controller for it to see it in windows and if so can somebody please direct me through the menus to initialize the disk, the controller is the 6Gbps SAS Ctrlr.
