I have recently bought a ATI FirePro V4800 Graphics card for obtaining a resolution of 1920X1080 with Dell T310 Server Machine.
I'm using Windows Server 2008 Standard (32bit) on this machine.The Dell T310 Machine by Default consists of one Display Driver(Built-in). This Driver will appear under the Display adapters under Computer management as "Matrox G200eW (Winbond)" due to which any monitor connected to the Built-in VGA Slot will work fine, but with a max Resolution of 1280x1024.
However i'm not able to see anything when i connect the monitor through the card, even after installing the "ATI FirePro V4800" Driver.
I'm suspecting a display adapter problem, as i'm seeing two adapters under it, one is "Matrox G200eW (Winbond)" & the other being "ATI FirePro V4800 (FireGL)". Even if i Disable the Matrox driver, still i'm not able to see anything on my monitor connected through the Graphics card.
Please Help...........
PS: I'm sure of this combination of the Driver software/ Graphics Card/ OS/ Server Model/ combination working fine for the same requirement before. but not aware of the settings or the procedure as it was done somebody else.
