Backplane in Degraded state

Hello - I have a PE1950, rrunning W2K3 Std, and OMSA is showing the Backplane on Connector 0 as Degraded.  All drives are healthy.  What does this indicate?  According to OMSA all the drivers and firmware are up to date on the box.
