I am part of a group providing service processor management solutions to our data center customers. We are seeing that some FW versions of the iDRAC 7 support ipmitool commands without a cipher suite while other versions require a cipher suite on the ipmitool command line.
When we ask customers for the iDRAC 7 versions from the iDRAC web page we have seen versions 1.30.30 and 1.37.35 reported. However, on the Dell support site, the versions listed are:

So, two questions:
Can you give me any information on 1.30.30?
What iDRAC firmware requires a cipher suite when using ipmitool? We have seen this issue with DRAC 5 as well.
