Have a T610 w/ 2 Xeon E5606, 48GB ram, perc 6/i raid 10 with 6 146GB 15K SAS drives. Just clean installed Server 2012 R2. Having random I/O locks where nothing will happen between 5-40 seconds. No DNS, no browsing files, nothing. This happens over RDP and when I'm on the console itself. I have seen other posts where this was resolved with current chipset drivers. I ran the Intel driver utility and it tells me I'm currently on version 6.3.9600.17238 and the latest version is 10.1.1.14. However it will not let me update the drivers to 10.1.1.14 it simply errors out with no explanation. I read that the 9.x version from dell was the last version to support the T610 line, but when I try to install those they get halfway done and then rolls back with an error. There is no chipset driver listed under my service tag and 2012 R2 OS, only for 2008 R2 which it will not let me install either. So...I need someone to help me find the current version of chipset drivers for this server that I can actually install and hopefully fix this I/O lock issue. Being a single server on this location it greatly impacts this customer....
Thanks!
