I have brand new PowerEdge M630 E5-2660 (2x10) with Server 2012 R2 Standard
OS power settings are set at "High performance"
The BIOS is factory default and Profile is set at "Performance".
The processors will normally run at 2.85-2.88 GHz.
Randomly it will appear a server is running very slow and when we investigate we find that the processor is running at .39-.41 GHz. This will remain at this level until a reboot occurs and then it will return to 2.85 and everything will be fine.
Has anyone encountered this behavior before? So far I have seen this happen on at least 2 of 6 servers a few times on each.
