This here is a bit odd, but has anyone ever seen a system like this? I picked up a Poweredge today, no model markings on the chassis for $10, quite nice specs too.
The odd part is there's absolutely no model marking on the chassis or in the BIOS, the BIOS reports the server as a "DELL__ PE_SC3__" and there's a II marking under the pullout next to the DRAC and Ethernet MACs.
Here are some pictures of what I'm referring to.
Note the lack of a model written below the LCD.

Here you can see the "II" in the top left of the pullout. This also doesn't have an Enterprise DRAC but I'll ignore that.

One thing that leads me to believe this might just be some sort of OEM'd system is the Dell logo on the top is blocked off.

The right label says "See service tag" for S/N. All the pictures I can find online of the tag have that area filled in.

The BIOS is a tad interesting as well. I had a logo originally that was just "Dell" and no Poweredge or R510 or anything however I was playing around in the BIOS to figure out what was up with this and somehow lost it.
I do, however, have the regular ROM BIOS message an format for the system specs and whatnot.

In the BIOS there's no model number or BIOS version listed. Note I did remove half the service tag.

And finally, what it reports for the manufacturer and model, or at least what Windows sees. The odd part here is "PE_SC3" corresponds to a Poweredge 1950 Gen III, which this is clearly not.

To restate the question again, does anyone have any idea whether this here is an OEM'd, one-off or whatnot system?
