I was wanting to upgrade my E5345 to a E5472. TDP was roughly the same as well as they should both be LGA 771 socket chips. Has anyone done this if so was there something you had to do to get the E5472 chip working? I install the E5472 and get no video and nothing but fans. Is there maybe something I missed with video on this? At this point I'm not 100% sure what it could be because I can pop the old E5345 and it works just fine.
Any help on this is appreciated.
