I need to find out how I can connect an LTO-6 drive (external) to my existing 2950 system. I have a small raid 0 running on three 75gb SAS drives. The fourth bay is for my Drive C. I use Windows XP-Pro SP3.
Ideally, if I can connect the LTO drive to the 2950 I can archive the material direct and not have to back up the files to an external USB to move to another system and off load to LTO from there. Too much time will be wasted that way.
So, I'm asking for help in determining how an LTO-6 would be connected to a 2950 and if that is even possible give it's age?
