I installed in my Dell T410 (2) sticks of Crucial 8GB DDR3 PC3-10600 • CL=9 • Dual Ranked • x8 based • Registered • ECC • DDR3-1333 • 1.35V • 1024Meg x 72. Memory is in socket 1 and 2. No other memory is installed. Upon boot, memory says it is running at 800MHz. Installed CPU-Z to verify. It says it is running at 400MHz which doubled is my 800MHz. From everthing I read, the memory should be at at 1067 MHz.
Went into BIOS and did not see any setting that could be changed. I did notice that it is running at 1.5volts instead of 1.35V.
I reinstalled the (4) 2GB sticks that were in before with same specs as above except it wasn't registered. It ran at the same speed (800MHz).
Shouldn't this memory be running at a faster speed?
Thanks,
Steve Reynolds
