Nvidia K10 Tesla unable to enable on R720 Server with matrox built in card

[01:21:19 AM] toseef raja: windows 2008 Standard R2
[01:22:20 AM] Sanjib: Since when are you experiencing this issue? Was it working before normally?
[01:22:54 AM] toseef raja: it was shipped by DELL with DELL server
[01:23:09 AM] toseef raja: no it never worked for me
[01:23:21 AM] toseef raja: since i unpack the server
[01:23:53 AM] Sanjib: So it was pre-installed with the Dell R720 server? correct?
[01:23:59 AM] toseef raja: yes
[01:26:18 AM] Sanjib: Press Windows+R--> type msinfo32
[01:26:24 AM] 'toseef raja' is currently 'Absent'. Approximately 120 seconds until disconnect.
[01:26:35 AM] Sanjib: Go to components--> display
[01:26:55 AM] 'toseef raja' is currently 'Active'.
[01:28:41 AM] toseef raja: yes its showing Nvidia Tesla K10 G2 8GB
[01:29:25 AM] Sanjib: That means the GPU is getting detected, what is the driver version?
[01:30:44 AM] toseef raja: 9.8.13
[01:32:41 AM] Sanjib: Are you experiencing any issues with it working on applications?
[01:32:56 AM] toseef raja: when i try to goto nvidia control panel
[01:33:05 AM] toseef raja: it gives an error like
[01:33:18 AM] toseef raja: "display is not attached to nvidia GPU"
[01:36:20 AM] Sanjib: Is this the only Graphics card installed in this server?
[01:36:38 AM] toseef raja: the other one is integrated \matrox
[01:39:55 AM] toseef raja: u there

[01:43:09 AM] Sanjib: Download and save the graphic card driver on the desktop by visiting the page at the following link.

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/71512/en-us
[01:43:21 AM] Sanjib: Once the download is completed, please perform the following steps:

1.Run the set up.exe file
2.Choose custom installation, and click next.
3.Check all the boxes in the custom install options windows and also check the box which states "Perform clean install"..
4.Restart your computer

[02:15:50 AM] toseef raja: standard port dat comes with servers

[02:18:17 AM] Sanjib: How many VGA ports are available? Only one or more than that?
[02:21:45 AM] toseef raja: 2 ports
[02:21:54 AM] toseef raja: 1 in back
[02:22:05 AM] toseef raja: 1 in front
[02:22:16 AM] Sanjib: Can you please check if it working in the other port?
[02:23:18 AM] toseef raja: yup
[02:23:22 AM] toseef raja: both are working
[02:23:50 AM] Sanjib: I mean if you are getting the same error message on both the ports?

[02:24:06 AM] toseef raja: getting it on both
