I have recently got a C6100 and met a problem here: the power indicators on all 4 nodes are always blinking. If nodes are off they just blink amber and they blink amber/green when they are on. From the owner's manual I can see it is due to BMC critical events. Hence I tried to grab the BMC events from web management UI (I cleaned up them once so I would not have a huge list):
13 | 215 second : Pre-Init time stamp | PSU 2 AC Status | Power Unit | AC Lost - Asserted |
12 | 208 second : Pre-Init time stamp | ACPI Pwr State | System ACPI Power State | Legacy ON State - Asserted |
11 | 9 second : Pre-Init time stamp | PSU 2 Present | Power Supply | Presence Detected - Deasserted |
10 | 2 second : Pre-Init time stamp | ACPI Pwr State | System ACPI Power State | Legacy OFF State - Asserted |
9 | 1 second : Pre-Init time stamp | AC Pwr On | Power Unit | AC Lost - Deasserted |
8 | 11/26/2013 03:44:40 | ACPI Pwr State | System ACPI Power State | Legacy OFF State - Asserted |
4 | 11/26/2013 03:42:51 | PSU 2 AC Status | Power Unit | AC Lost - Asserted |
3 | 11/26/2013 03:42:35 | ACPI Pwr State | System ACPI Power State | Legacy ON State - Asserted |
2 | 11/26/2013 03:42:26 | ACPI Pwr State | System ACPI Power State | Legacy OFF State - Asserted |
1 | 11/26/2013 03:41:56 | SEL Fullness | Event Logging disabled | Log Area Reset/Cleared - Asserted |
Does any one item contributed to that problem?
