Could you please let me know if I use HP OEM Qlogic Adapter Card with DELL server(PowerEdgeR720) and use/update its Boot Code (BIOS/Firmware) as recommended on DELL Site /or Qlogic Site for DELL OEM. Should there be any issue?
I think as hardware of OEM cards are same then changing BIOS code / firmware should not have any issue with adapter and it should work? Please let me know your view.
Also please let me know if QLogic Card is not OEM Card and we are using it for DELL Server them what Boot Code (BIOS/Firmware) should be used?
One that is recommended on QLogic for DELL OEM or Qlogic Latest available Boot Code for that Card?
