Poweredge 2970 E1210 CMOS Batt (blade)

Hello,

We have powered down, unplugged, replaced the cmos battery, reseted the memory and we still receive error E1210 CMOS Batt.  We didn't have to flush the Cache since the server doesn't have any OS or VD's configured.

1. The directions don't say but does the Perc controller need to be reseated to get rid of this error? 
2. Are their any directions that show how to get the perc controller out?
3. How do you test whether the battery volts is outside of allowable range?
