Recently, I had some drives fail on a server. The drives were replaced out of warranty and the server is back up and running.
Now that I've updated perc firmware and drivers, two of the drives that were replaced are showing non critical warnings. I have been told that this could be a result of the drives not being a recommended brand for the server, but they shouldn't present any issues.
Is there a way I can tell that this is the case, or whether I'm dealing with another, actual potential drive failure?
