I have a Poweredge R730 and purchased a MultiTech MT9234SMI internal fax modem for it. I installed the modem in the lower slot on Riser 2, but after starting the server, it didn't recognize any hardware changes. I went ahead and installed the drivers from MultiTech, but it still won't recognize the modem. Do I need to activate the Riser with a software change or a jumper in order to use it, or do I need a additional power input to the Riser in order to power the modem/riser?
