T420 - Tape drive / SAS card issue

Thanks to extend your help on below:

For PowerEdge T420

Server currently has ESX installed and Backup software in on a windows VM

Tape drive is connected through a SAS HBA card

Issue is that the tape drive is no more detected on the VM

I tried to find out if the SAS card is being detected by the host itself, through IDRAC, no info about SAS card was available

I also create a Remote‐DSET via iDRAC, I still cannot see any info about SAS card

Thanks to advise on how i can see if the host is detecting the SAS HBA card
