Honestly, I am quite fresh in the Dell stuff.
I went for the R730xd for the virtualization purposes mostly. I build the cluster.
The first server was on the delivery already, but the internal dual flash card was missing. Of course, I went for extra orders, but before, I went for the quick successful installation of the ESXi 6.5 on the vlash card to see, how my server reacts (thankfully, I was able to prepare 4Gigs partition on some 16GB SD card randomly taken - just for check).
Of course, due the lack of time and mostly remote work, I need to know, if that makes sense to deploy the all settings to the temporary vflash SD, then easily plug that card to the new internal SD module after arrival and then continue my job. If yes, what additional steps do I have to perform please? And then, the tempting stuff, to clone that card to the second server, which arrives soon with already allocated internal SD card module ;) Then I don't have to double work.
If not, I just drop that task, wait for the internal SD redundant cards and start from scratch and then the next question appears (same as above) - is any chance to clone that already done internal SD card and transfer to the second server in cluster please (of course, the second server needs some adjustment probably)?
