I have R610 with old IDRAC firmware (1.10) which has apparently a bug which prevents the DRAC LAN to be re-enabled once it gets first time disabled (see similar discussion in http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/systems-management/f/4469/t/19415104.aspx?PageIndex=2
My problem is obviously that I disabled the DRAC LAN and now can't get it back. Since this feature is necessary for the IDRAC firmware upgrade to work I can't upgrade the firmware to fix the bug (for example when trying to run the latest 1.95 upgrade it ends up with error "USB Device is not found" and "Failed to access Virtual USB Device") and also I am getting the "IDRAC communication error" alerts when trying to make changes in the IDRAC bios. I tried all the suggested procedures described in the other thread without any success.
Is there a way to fix that? Also if I buy new IDRAC card and replace it will that solve the problem?
