I have Poweredge 2900 which is running windows 7 which i know is not supported and i have installed new fans and is as quite as a mouse except every 3-5 mins it decides to ramp up to max for 20 seconds, then quite as a mouse again.
I understand why and need to adjust thresholds to allow for the lower speeds, CPu and all temps are OK.
I have installed openmanage on windows 7 , set as 2008 compatible but get to login and it fails using my localhost user and password, it also asks for Hostname or Ip with user and password, have now given up and guess its just not compatible.
Any ideas how i can lower the threshold any other way??
Would rolling back the bios help?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
