I've got a PowerEdge R210 ii here. I've put in a single 8GB memory stick (the supplier says it's compatible) into the slot marked "1" but upon bootup there is no VGA. I've checked the manual and it says that bad memory configs may result in lack of VGA.
There's a table in the manual titled "supported configuration" and it doesn't seem to show the option for a single 8gb stick, though it does show the option for a single 4gb stick. So does this mean that if using an 8GB stick I need two of them?
