having our R520 Dell PowerEdge server with one Xeon E5 2440 CPU onboard, we need to examine and monitor CPU temperature. But the only temperature sensor available via iDRAC7 to review, is the "System Board Inlet Temp" one, whose temperature data are all in normal range. Meanwhile, using "ASTRA" or "Open Hardware Monitor" we see that the CPU temperature is from 65 to 75 deg. C. when server is mainly idle, and even above when it's under load. Beyond the hardware support maybe necessary, the particular question is - what way the certain CPU temperature sensor could be monitored via iDRAC7 on R520?
