For the R410, there are a couple of BMC/iDRAC firmware packages:
"Dell iDRAC Monolithic Release 2.80"
"Dell PowerEdge R410 BMC 1.92"
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/poweredge-r410/drivers
It seems that the iDRAC6 package is compatible with one R410 :
Baseboard Product Name: 0N051F
Serial Number: 6*****
And the BMC package is compatible with another R410:
Baseboard Product Name: 0N83VF
Serial Number: H******
For doing script-based firmware updates, is there any system information (Baseboard, or Serial Number, etc.) which can be used to determine which of these two packages will be compatible on an R410? I am aware of the -c switch which can be used with the firmware update binary to determine compatibility, but am hoping for a more independent solution as extra firmware packages might be compressed, deleted, or not even deployed if not compatible.
I am using the RHEL 6 packages.
