Installing a Serial PCIe card into a VRTX

Hello,

We have a classic PBX software that requires a serial port in order to communicate to our PBX box, the software is currently  installed on a VM running on an older IBM xSeries server, it is running just fine but we would like to retire the IBM server. So I would like to move the VM over to the VRTX but for some reason I can't get the VRTX to recognize the Serial PCIe card, I tried it in different slots, low profile slots and regular. non worked.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
