R710 iDRAC 6 Express remote access failures

A couple months ago I took ownership of a PowerEdge R710 with an iDRAC 6 Express. Two days ago I decided to take a look at the iDRAC to make sure alerts were configured properly and everything else was in order. The network settings on the iDRAC were configured and it was accessible remotely. Using the web interface, I updated the firmware to the latest version available for it, v1.99 (Build 06). I don't recall what version it was previously. The firmware update completed successfully. However, now. about once or twice a day, the iDRAC stops responding to any attempts to access it remotely. You can't even ping it. I am able to access it locally from the host OS using racadm. If I use racadm to reset it (racadm racreset soft), network access to it starts working again.

There's nothing in the System Event Log that looks out of place or corresponds to the times that network connectivity drops out.

I'm not really sure where to go from here and I'm not having any luck finding others with this problem.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
