We are running a cluster that contains 45 SC1435. They are all running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. I was asked to bring them up to RHEL 6. We are actually using ROCKS software. We have a node that each compute node (sc 1435) PXE boots and installs itself. I have succesfully PXE booted a Dell 1950 and a Toshiba laptop. When it came to the SC 1435, it went through the entire installation, rebooted, tried to PXE boot, which of course things are not set up to do, then quite. It seems it is not able to find its local disks. Granted, after trying this I found neither Dell or Red Hat supports RHEL 6 on this, but apparently everything worked until the final stage. I am wondering if I upgraded the BIOS/Firmware would that help. I am not sure how to do this. I can still bring other nodes up in RHEL 5. In doing so, where do I find the appropriate upgrades? Thanks.
