Our server Dell PowerEdge R530 seems to have a problem in the PCI configuration space. The problem occurs in both of the operating systems that we use: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and Windows Server 2008 R2. The system (BIOS?) doesn’t set the Cache Line Size register (offset 0xC) of our PCI Express to PCI Bridge mounted on a custom communication board, this interfere with the proper operation.
This is the first time that this kind of problem occurs (our boards work for about six 6 year on many PCs, mostly Dell Servers).
Does anyone know the reason for this change, can this behavior be considered a bug?
These are the information about the server:
Model: PER530
BIOS Version: 1.0.2
iDRAC Version: 2.06.05.05
