I've inherited a PowerEdge 1800 and it has recently started having issues at boot. Specifically, I get a Searching for device at HBA 0 message which ends up failing - Device Not Responding. It tries another 10-11 times, incrementing the ID, before the server boots (or fails to boot). This boot up process usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
I've tried removing drives and the raid controller but neither seems to have an effect.
Please help!
