So I purchased R710, it turned out that had very old bios, firmwares etc.

I decided to install:

BIOS

iDRAC

USC

After reboot, USC stopped working, bios not showing number, LCD not working, basically it turned server into c*. iDRAC console of course is not working

What to do with it ? I downloaded newest firmwares from Dell website (only because USC had no "Platforms Update" option).

I'm very angry as I have few other servers from HP and had no issues at all with updating, but what I've read is this:

Dell released bios which can corrupt your motherboard if your bios is too old (lazy and poor developers), there is no other way but buy new motherboard.

Is it true ? I've tried to install new BIOS and firmwares one more time, but no luck, I've tried install BIOS from DOS but of course BIOS wasn't recognized and I had no chance to update it.

Is  there any other walk around or should I just sell this and go with real servers from HP ?
