Hi, I have a Dell PowerEdge T605 tower server that we've had from new and it was working fine until we took it out of service. It sat around for a while in a dry comms room with air conditioning. now it wont start up...
when I connect power, the psu fan whirrs, and the text "PowerEdge T605" scrolls across the un-lit LCD. when I press the power button the cd light flashes, the LCD lights up in blue, but then a second later it dulls to orange and starts scrolling the following error message: "E1231 1.2V HTCORE PwrGd E123B Vldt PwrGd E1000 FAILSAFE Call Support".
this is no longer in warranty and I've re-seated all components in case it was knocked as well as trying with the bare minimum components installed and no luck. I wondered if anyone could shed any light on this as google doesn't have much info. thanks.
