Hi,
I am new to the firmware upgrades. The OMSA on my R610 server with oel 4.8 32bit alerts as below.
Firmware/Driver Information for Controller PERC H700 Integrated
Status: Non-Critical Firmware and Driver versions are out of date.
Firmware Version 12.10.4-0001
Minimum Required Firmware Version 12.3.0-0032
Driver Version 00.00.04.01-RH1
Minimum Required Driver Version 0.00.04.17
I want to upgrade the firmware and driver, but confused. Have some questions below:-
1. which one needs to be updated first(driver/firmware)?
2. I can see currently the OS is loaded with the OS inbuilt driver. Now if i am upgrading the driver with the Dell provided driver, is there anything additional i have to do rather than simply installing the Dell provided driver?
3. I got the below links to download the firmware and driver. Please confirm i am on the right links.
