Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me with logging in to an iDRAC6 on a Dell PE T410 Server.
Where I work we support up to 100 servers, all with iDRACs for remote management. I've never had a problem logging into any of them until this one, today. I'd logged onto it fine initially using Internet Explorer and was generating a Security Certificate in order to remove the warning message when connecting over the web. As far as I know this process normally takes seconds, but this morning I waited nearly an hour and nothing seemed to be happening - the "Waiting..." message and progress bar at the bottom of the IE window didn't seem to be moving. I found I could continue to navigate the iDRAC6 interface, so IE hadn't crashed. I closed the window and opened it again, but was unable to log in. Neither the default password nor the one we always change it to would work.
I get "Access Denied" errors when I try SSH. Can the root account become disabled somehow? Is there any way to reset the password to the default?
