Three computers, Model: PowerEdge T105, are used in the distributed control system of our factory. Few days ago one computer turned off completely although power supply to the computer was alright. There was no indicating light glowing. With the power supply to socket, the computer can no longer be started by pressing start pushbutton. There was no response at all. Power supply unit failure may be the cause. Is there any other reason of the fault? The power supply unit Model No.: L305P-01, Dell P/N: NH 493, P/N: PS-6311-5DF-LF, DC Output: 305W, S/N: B 06868279 Level 3. We are trying to collect the power supply from local market.

I am not an IT professional. May I learn if it is possible to keep a total back up of the computer in a portable memory disk so that if the computer gets damaged, new computer of same model and configuration can replace the damaged one and can perform the same duty using the data/software kept in the portable memory disk? This computer is connected to the two more computers of same model and specification.
